The journey in movement

Salman Ravanan, motion graphic designer in Dubai

It all started in 2018, deep in the world of TV production, where I first discovered the magic of bringing visuals to life. The way scenes unfolded, the way energy flowed: it wasn’t just about capturing moments, but making them feel real. That’s when I knew I was meant to create, not just observe.

So I followed that instinct. I stepped away from static frames and into a world where ideas move. Freelancing became my next playground, where I explored different industries, from production houses to corporate gigs, testing the limits of storytelling through design.

But it wasn’t until I landed in advertising that I found the real challenge: the space where creativity meets speed, where every second counts, and where visuals aren’t just seen but experienced.

I’ve been through it all: TV, production, freelancing and advertising. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: I’ll never settle. Creativity is about pushing forward, evolving, and finding new ways to make ideas come alive.

When I’m not making things move on screen, you’ll probably find me on a football field or glued to a Liverpool match.
